Peace Together: weekly sewing group

Looking for a friendly group and place to come and sew? 

Sewing sessions open to all.  Every Thursday 1–4pm.

Penny and Sarah our quilting and sewing experts will be leading the group, they can guide you through a sewing project you may want help with, or teach you about patchwork and quilting.

Help yourself to the kettle. We just ask for a suggested donation of £7.50 (that’s £2.50 an hour) each week to cover the costs of the cabin and refreshments, this is volunatarily run by The Maker's Place. 

Being creative can have major health benefits, socially, mentally and physically.

If the cost puts you off then please don’t worry, select the £0 option.

This session is open to all, under 16 year olds to be accompanied by an adult please. 

We have some sewing machines you can use or bring your own if you prefer.
