Craft Together will be a bit like a caring craft club. The aim is to create a safe welcoming place to come and be creative with others. We want to create a caring, crafting community. There will be a focus on wellbeing as we craft together.
For a 4 week trial period we will be open every Friday 10am- midday. Starting from 8th Sept 2023. People can pay as they go or pre book in advance.

WHAT? The group begins with sign in from 10am help yourself to drinks and then craft therapy starts at 10:30am. Becca will introduce the wellbeing theme that week, the craft activity and also facilitate a group discussion. There will then be an opportunity to get involved with the craft activity until midday or you may prefer to bring your own project.
WHO? This is open to ANYONE over the age of 18 years. Becca will be leading the group and supported by a Maker's Place Volunteer.
WHERE? This group will be based in the Craft Cabin at The Maker's Place on Spring Farm in Ash.
HOW MUCH? It will be £10 a session or 4 sessions for £30. Included in the price is access to a Maker's Members WhatsApp group discussion page.
If cost is an issue then please do not be discouraged. We have some places that are subsidised as we are so passionate at bringing people together to craft in community.
WHY? We believe that being creative is important for our mental, social and spiritual wellbeing. Make time for yourself, carve out time to be creative. You don't have to be good at the craft, there is no judgement, some people may want to come and be in the company of others and just see what others get up too and that's ok. We at The Maker's Place believe you are a master piece, uniquely you and made by a Master maker. It maybe that Becca brings elements of the Christian faith into the group when appropriate to do so.
